Responsible Gaming at SpinEmpire Canada — Tools, Limits & Resources

Gambling is a form of entertainment. When it stops being that, tools are available to help you pause, set boundaries, or stop entirely. This page explains every control SpinEmpire provides and lists Canadian support resources by province.

Account Controls — Set Your Own Limits

Every tool below is available in Account Settings → Responsible Gaming. No support ticket required to activate or lower a limit.

Deposit Limits

Set a cap on total deposits per day, per week, or per month. The limit takes effect immediately when you set it. Decreasing a limit is instant. Increasing a limit carries a mandatory 48-hour cooling period before the change activates — this prevents heat-of-the-moment decisions from undoing your own protections.

Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits

Loss Limits

A ceiling on net losses per time period. When your net loss reaches the set amount, the game lobby becomes unavailable until the period resets — daily at midnight, weekly on Monday, monthly on the 1st. Same 48-hour delay applies to increases. Decreases are instant.

Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Loss Limits

Reality Check

An on-screen alert at intervals you set — 30 minutes, 60 minutes, or 2 hours. The alert shows how long you have been playing and the session's net result. You dismiss it and continue, or end the session. The alert returns at each interval until you log out.

Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Reality Check

Time-Out (Cooling-Off)

Suspend your account from 1 day to 6 weeks. During the time-out, login is disabled and deposits are blocked. Your real money balance is preserved. Contact live chat to initiate — activates within 1 hour. Cannot be cancelled early — you must wait the full period.

Contact support → Request Time-Out → choose period

Self-Exclusion

Full account closure from 6 months to permanent. During exclusion, your account is locked and you will not receive promotional emails. Real money balance is refunded within 5–10 business days. The exclusion cannot be reversed during the chosen period. Permanent exclusion cannot be reversed at all.

Contact support → Self-Exclusion Request → choose duration

Wager Limits

Cap the maximum stake per spin or hand. Prevents a single bet from exceeding a set amount — useful for players who want to extend session time while managing risk per round. Set under Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Wager Limit.

Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Wager Limit

Responsible Gaming — Common Questions

Go to Account → Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits. Select daily, weekly, or monthly, enter your chosen amount, and confirm. The limit activates immediately. Decreases apply right away; increases require 48 hours before they take effect.
Yes. Decreasing any limit — deposit, loss, or wager — takes effect immediately with no delay. Only increases carry the 48-hour cooling period. This is intentional: reducing a limit should never be made harder.
A time-out is a temporary pause from 1 day to 6 weeks. After the period ends, your account reactivates. Self-exclusion is a longer closure from 6 months to permanent. During self-exclusion you will not receive promotional messages. A permanent self-exclusion cannot be reversed under any circumstances.
Your real money balance is returned to the payment method on file within 5–10 business days of the exclusion taking effect. Bonus balances are forfeited. The exclusion cannot be reversed to access the account during this period.
SpinEmpire's self-exclusion applies to this platform only. For broader coverage, register with your provincial self-exclusion program (listed above on this page) and install blocking software such as Bet Blocker. These are three independent layers of protection.
Call 1-866-531-2600 (free, 24/7). Then contact SpinEmpire support to request a self-exclusion — this removes one available gambling option while you seek support. You can do both in the same hour. Support services will not judge you for calling.
